Measures

For this project, multiple measures have been selected within each domain. The measures are designed to assess the following constructs:

Environmental Factors:

Social Support
Attitudes
Services/Assistance
Physical/Structural
Material Resources

Social Communication/Behavioral Factors:

Communication Behaviors
Social Problem-Solving
Affective/Behavioral Symptoms

Social Integration:

This construct is being measured by two instruments:

Community Integration Questionnaire (CIQ)
Craig Handicap Assessment and Reporting Technique—Short Form (CHART-SF)

Emotional Factors:

Loneliness
Symptoms of depression
Life Satisfaction
