Update
Update on the development of the Web site:
The web address for our Web site is www.tbicommunity.org. To date there are more than 100 web pages developed as a part of the web site. From the very first page, the site is in both English and Spanish. People with traumatic brain injury have been involved from the beginning in developing and testing the site.
The Web site is divided into ten sections. The user may choose to browse any one of the sections: Home (describes the mission and goals of the rehabilitation research and training center), Who Are We? (describes the researchers, collaborators, participating institutions and the funding agency), Research Projects (describes each of the research projects and their progress), Training Projects (describes each of the training projects and their progress and activities), Resources and Publications (links to the products and resources of the center, including the downloadable newsletters), Articles by Consumers, Links to Related Sites, How Can I Get Involved (helps users find out all the ways in which they can get involved with the center and sign up for activities or publications), Frequently Asked Questions and Contact Us (how to contact us via mail or email, fax or telephone).
We have recently added information from our State-of-the-Science Conference (see Training Project T-7), photos of the Center for Creative Expression's Art Car and the next Schedule of Classes, Presentations and Publications by the Principal Investigators and information on our Web cast, "Inclusion of Minorities in TBI Research."
This project is coordinated by our web designer, Marj Gordon. You can submit comments or suggestions to her any time at mgordon@bcm.edu.
